The Forum was a great choice! I looked at several places to stay in OCNJ and decided on The Forum. My biggest reason were the positive reviews for cleanliness and the reviews were very accurate! The morning of our stay I received a text to verify that I was over 25 and some other details (by the way this checked another box on my list, because I didn't want to stay where there were a bunch of kids partying). Digitally signed the document and when we arrived the only thing I had to do was head to the office to show ID. Check-in is not until 4 but, I was told that the room should be ready no later than 3 and they confirmed my cell number and told me I would receive a text that the room was ready and the door unlock code. At 2:50 I received a text that the room was ready. Some reviewers of other locations said the pics on the website did not reflect the room they were getting but, the room I received matched perfectly! I took pics as soon as I was inside so the room looks like the pics minus the bag on the bed. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels. The pool was great! It was very clean and there was more than enough lounge chairs and umbrellas. The Forum is about 1.5 blocks from the boardwalk so all I had to do is park and I could walk to the boardwalk or the shops on Asbury. Even though this is a kid friendly place you could not hear the kids outside or above you for that matter. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot and had very good water pressure. Had a great walk in shower. The rooms were modern. There was a big screen TV in the room and although I didn't need wifi the signal was strong anywhere around the property. As far as parking goes it can be a little tight but, they have an overflow lot which we used that was right across the street from the hotel and it was safe and secure. Some other places I looked at had you parking your car 3 blocks away or, charged you $15.00 to $25.00 a day to park.

The whole facility seems renovated well. There are some old comments saying nothing works or furniture is missing however, fortunately for us this was not the case. We stayed on the first floor in Room 121 and it was clean with everything looking new. All amenities are included (soap, shampoo, towels, hairdryer, microwave, mini fridge.) The room was the perfect distance to our car and their pool. The pool is gated, good size from 3ft deep to 7ft (more or less) deep. There is also a small and separate 1ft splash pool next to the main pool. But the color of that water was yellow and looked pretty dirty. Think twice about going in there. We also appreciated the daily "entertainment" during our stay. One day had Rudy from Lucky Duck Entertainment making balloon animals for kids for a few hours. The next day there was a musician but we just missed him as came back from the boardwalk. Distance to boardwalk was also a big plus - 1 long block distance. We were really happy with this establishment and will certainly come back! Front desk is also very friendly and communicates with you through text (entertainment updates, room requests, etc.) Thank you Anisha!!

The decor was modern and the room and entire hotel was exceptionally clean!! We sought out the maid each day to make sure she got our tip. The beds were so comfortable and the shower was even better than my shower at home. The desk clerks were helpful and friendly. We especially thought Justin took the time to help with every detail including best local restaurants, etc. The location was perfect for easy access to the boardwalk!

One of the best places and stays we had during our entire road trip across America. Everything was clean, tidy, and the staff were very helpful. The only thing is that, although we booked a “beachfront” room, you actually have to walk a few minutes through town to get to the beach. But overall, everything is close by and we rate it very well — 9 out of 10.

Justina

The staff were outstanding. The manager Ali assisted me when I had an issue. Justin at the front desk was amazing and welcoming. The maintenance person Chuck was very helpful. I will definitely stay again. It was close to the boardwalk.
